Using newly released images from the Hamilton County case file, Townsend reconstructs the most notorious murder mystery in Cincinnati’s history, utilizing partially redacted crime scene photos from inside the Bricca house at 3381 Greenway Avenue.
Townsend will update readers on progress in obtaining a new DNA sample in the latest push for justice for Jerry, Linda, and Debbie. He will also talk about the upcoming 2027 Bricca case documentary film.

Speaker Bio
J. T. Townsend is a freelance writer, armchair detective, and lifelong resident of Cincinnati.
He is the author of the 2009 regional best-seller Queen City Gothic, and 2014’s Queen City Notorious, and his work has appeared in the Cincinnati Enquirer, Cincinnati Magazine, Word Magazine, Crime Traveler, and Clews. He has presented over 300 programs in the Cincinnati area as part of his True Crime Lecture Series, including Jack the Ripper, Lizzie Borden, and the Lindbergh Kidnapping. He teaches his Cincinnati True Crime Detective class for the University of Cincinnati Communiversity division.
In 2018, he was featured on WCPO News, 700WLW Radio, and the Cincinnati Enquirer while promoting his new book Summer’s Almost Gone, a regional bestseller! In 2020, he appeared on WLWT News with Sheree Paolello.
Tom Zawistowski is the CEO and Founder of TRZ Communications, a 45-year-old technology company based in Akron, Ohio, alongside his wife Nanette. He has also founded three additional companies and multiple non-profit organizations
Zawistowski holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Edinboro State College, a Master’s in Sports Management from Kent State University, and doctoral work toward a degree in Education Administration at Kent State and the College of William & Mary
He is best known as one of the four original founders of the Portage County TEA Party in 2009, serving as its Executive Director since 2010 Under his leadership, the group grew to over 2,600 members, turning a historically Democratic county into a Republican stronghold and influencing statewide and national conservative politics He has also been active in the We the People Convention, guiding the conservative movement in Ohio and beyond .
Zawistowski’s career blends technology entrepreneurship with political activism, making him a prominent figure in both business and conservative political circles.
