Class Description
Well over 100 years ago, socialist thinkers developed an extensive plan aimed at gaining control over the major institutions of Western society, with a particular focus on America. A central component of this strategy was the educational system, spanning from kindergarten all the way through graduate and professional schools. Their intention was to use education as a primary tool to shape future generations and influence societal norms and values. Although the effort to fully take over educational institutions is not yet complete, significant progress has been made.
This class will summarize and provide essential updates to the materials previously presented in four earlier EmpowerU America classes. The election of Donald Trump marked a period of significant change in the political landscape. However, it is important to recognize that the effects of 100 years of transformation cannot be undone within just four years. The advances made over the past century that are important to socialists — in particular, diversity and climate change — remain deeply embedded within American institutions.
These facts are crucial for every conservative or libertarian American to understand.

Tom Hagedorn is a life-long learner who has been researching and talking about the many facets of western socialism and progressivism over the last five years. He has previously given talks at EmpowerU on Socialism in the U.S.: A Brief History, ESG: Introducing Our New World Government, American Education and Its Takeover by International Socialism, and Climate Calamity: Climate Change Exposed. Tom is a member of the EmpowerU Board.
Tom has been providing investment advice to individuals since 1983. He has been involved in various political, charitable, and community activities. He has a B.S. (cum laude) and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati and is a CPA and a CFP
